Kuala Lumpur, 13 November 2012 – MEASAT Satellite Systems Sdn. Bhd. (“MEASAT”) announced today an agreement with RRsat America – Global Communications Network Inc. (“RRsat”) a subsidiary of RRsat Global Communications Network Ltd. (NASDAQ: RRST) for capacity on the soon to be launched AFRICASAT-1a satellite. Under the terms of the agreement, RRsat has secured C-band capacity for a new MCPC platform on AFRICASAT-1a for video distribution services across Africa and the Middle East.
