Young talent at MEASAT recognised by the Asia Pacific Satellite Communications Council

KUALA LUMPUR, 21 October 2022 – MEASAT Global Berhad (“MEASAT”) – Malaysia’s premier satellite operator was once again recognised by the Asia Pacific Satellite Communications Council (“APSCC”) for the quality of its young talent, when Abdul Halim Abd Aziz, Assistant Manager for Satellite and Launch Procurement at MEASAT received the 2022 APSCC Young Talent Award in Seoul, South Korea yesterday. Halim is the third person from MEASAT to receive the honour, following wins by other personnel in 2018 and 2019. The 2022 APSCC Awards, held in conjunction with the annual APSCC Satellite Conference and Exhibition, also saw Yau Chyong Lim, Chief Operating Officer of MEASAT receiving the 2022 Satellite Executive of the Year in the Asia Pacific award, in a separate presentation held earlier on 18 October 2022.
