The scholarship is open to you as long as you meet the eligibility requirements stated
in the terms & conditions.

| 2. I am currently pursuing my second degree / masters in a university. Can I still apply for the MEASAT Scholarship? |
| |
Yes, you may but MEASAT will not be liable for any cancellation fees or the consequences
of postponement of your current enrollment in the University.

| 3. How do I apply for the Scholarship? |

All applications must be submitted either online to measatscholarship@measat.com or to

| 4. Do I need to submit my transcripts, certifications, and application form when I apply? |

Yes, you need to attach a copy of the relevant documents when you submit your application. Original copies are only required if you are short listed.

| 5. Can I resubmit an application? |
| |
No, you cannot send in a second application. Please ensure all details are accurate
when you make your submission to MEASAT. Any incorrect information may be deem
as deliberate attempt to mislead the selection process.

| 6. Can I submit an application after the said deadline? |
| |
No, all applications must reach MEASAT by 1 March 2010.
|

| 7. What are the criteria MEASAT uses to decide who gets the Scholarship? |
| |
The applicant must demonstrate the following minimum criteria:

Good command of written and spoken English; |

Strong academic track record and a keen interest in the satellite
communications
industry; and |
 |
Demonstrated maturity with the potential to excel professionally. |
MEASAT reserves the rights to change or add to the above criteria in its selection process
at its sole discretion at any time.

| 8. What is the selection process like? |

There are three stages in the selection process:
| Stage 1 : |
Candidates will be short-listed if they met the eligibility requirements. |
| Stage 2 : |
The short-listed candidates will be interviewed by the first panel of Interviewers. |
| Stage 3 : |
Short-listed candidates will go through a final interview with the second panel
of Interviewers. |

| 9. When would I know if I've been awarded the scholarship? |
| |
You would know by the end of April if you’ve been awarded the scholarship.
|
|
| 10. Will I be bonded and for how long? |
| |
A MEASAT scholar is expected to serve with MEASAT for at least three years. This gives
the scholar practitioner work experience with a leading player in the satellite communications industry.
|
|
| 11. What does the scholarship cover? |
| |
The scholarship will cover tuition fees for a Space Master's programme approved by MEASAT,
a return airfare and a sum to be determined at the sole discretion of MEASAT based on
fair estimate of the costs of lodging and living expenses in Strasbourg, France.
|

| 12. Am I allowed to switch my area of study? |
| |
No, you are not allowed to switch your major without written approval from MEASAT.
|
|
13. If I were awarded the Scholarship, can I receive additional financial assistance from other
organizations? |
| |
No, you may not receive any additional financial assistance from any other organizations
without prior written consent of MEASAT.
|
|
| 14. Who should I contact to clarify something about the Scholarship? |
|
