We refer to the article dated 18 July 2009 in the StarBizWeek Section of the Star captioned “MEASAT looks at launching fifth satellite” (“Article”).
In the Article, it was reported that “MEASAT is expected to earn USD100 million annually in the next three to four years through the four satellites it owns ...”.
As clarified in the Company’s announcement on 23 June 2009 of a news report in the Financial Daily dated 22 June 2009 which carried a similar error, this statement should read as “MEASAT is expected to generate an annual revenue of USD100 million in three to four years' time through the four satellites it owns .." and not as reported in the Article.
