Conditional take-over offer by MEASAT Global Network Systems Sdn Bhd (“MGNS” or “Offeror”) through CIMB Investment Bank Berhad (“CIMB”) and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad (“Maybank IB”) to acquire all of the ordinary shares of RM0.78 each in MEASAT not already held by MGNS (“Offer Shares”) at a cash offer price of RM4.20 for each Offer Share (“Offer”)

We refer to our earlier announcements dated 28 July, 13 August, 18 August, 27 August, 3 September, 6 September, 7 September, 8 September, 9 September, 13 September and 23 September 2010 in relation to the Offer.

We wish to announce that MEASAT has today received the attached Press Notice from CIMB and Maybank IB on behalf of the Offeror in relation to the detailed disclosure of the level of acceptances of the Offer as at 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on the closing date, 23 September 2010, in accordance with the requirement of Section 25(1) of the Malaysian Code on Take-Overs and Mergers 1998.

This announcement is dated 24 September 2010.
