MEASAT GLOBAL BERHAD (“MEASAT”) CONDITIONAL TAKE-OVER OFFER BY MEASAT GLOBAL NETWORK SYSTEMS SDN BHD (“MGNS” OR “OFFEROR”) THROUGH CIMB INVESTMENT BANK BERHAD (“CIMB”) AND MAYBANK INVESTMENT BANK BERHAD (“MAYBANK IB”) TO ACQUIRE ALL OF THE ORDINARY SHARES OF RM0.78 EACH IN MEASAT NOT ALREADY HELD BY MGNS (“OFFER SHARES”) AT A CASH OFFER PRICE OF RM4.20 FOR EACH OFFER SHARE (“OFFER”) – LEVEL OF ACCEPTANCES

We refer to our earlier announcements dated 28 July, 13 August, 18 August, 27 August and 3 September 2010 in relation to the Offer and the announcement on 6 September 2010 in relation to the revised closing date and time for acceptance of the Offer to 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Wednesday, 22 September 2010.

We wish to announce that MEASAT has today received the attached Press Notice from CIMB and Maybank IB on behalf of the Offeror in relation to the detailed disclosure of the level of acceptances of the Offer as at 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on 6 September 2010, in accordance with the requirements of Section 25(1) of the Malaysian Code on Take-Overs and Mergers 1998.
